Sustainability @Kairos
We are working hard to make Kairos eco friendly, ensuring that it puts something back into the environment as well as the local community. Our progress has been modest so far. We’ve planted over a hundred trees; we’re in the process of building an area to recycle garden and household waste; we have deliberately left some areas as wilderness to encourage the propagation of wild fauna and animals. For the future we plan the installation of solar panels, wind power and our own well.
We encourage our guests to support our efforts by saving water and electricity, helping us to recycle organic waste and carbon offsetting their air travel (see recommended carbon offset site under Links). |
